This huge rocky headland is located in the southern part of Vishakapatnam and projects out into the Bay of Bengal. Located at a height of 358 metres above sea level, this naturally-formed rock is shaped like a dolphin’s nose. It is a popular spot for viewing the city’s natural harbour. It also has an impressive 19-metres-high lighthouse, the oldest in the city, whose powerful light beam is visible far out in the sea.
