When in Prague, missing out on watching a traditional Czech band perform on the cobbled streets of the Old Town is almost sacrilegious. Usually a three-man band, they play catchy folk music of the days of yore interspersed with modern elements. With their long black cloaks and fancy Aladdin shoes, they could easily be mistaken for characters out of a Disney movie, Peter Pan or maybe even Lord of the Rings. Bagpipes and a plethora of other traditional instruments help them belt out tunes that will stay in your head for days, months and years altogether. The electric guitar and drums playing in the background only add to the beauty of their production. In fact, the earthy music might just remind you of popular Bollywood numbers but better in so many ways.
