You should be here on Wednesday nights especially if you are with your family that loves outdoors and getting into nature. The Family Nature Nights are presented by Nature Alberta's Young Naturalists Club and the Alberta Science Network (ASN) in an effort to connect people with nature. They take place from 6 –8:15 pm every Wednesday night in July and August and they change locations each and every week. Each night has a different theme that range from rocks and fossils to pollinators to forest fables. The events do run whether the sun is out and shining or whether it is pouring rain, so make sure you dress appropriately. Kids will love learning about the different sounds animals make, how to identify plants and more while parents might just learn a thing or two as well. Different presenters are on hand each week and that can include biologists, master’s students from the university and all around nature lovers.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
