Underground Belgrade

The strategic location of Belgrade on the confluence of Rivers Sava and Danube has attracted many crusaders. The series of invaders and crusaders of Serbia built underground tunnels, canals, storage rooms, secret passageways, and bunkers during their reign under the city of Belgrade. The 2000 years of history of Belgrade has seen occupation by Celtic, Roman, Byzantine, Hungarian, Austrian, Turkish, and Germans. All of them created underground secret networks through channels and tunnels. The secrets of these empires are buried under the ground since time immemorial.
