Situated on the outskirts of the city of Amritsar, Virasat Haveli is a 250-year-old structure built with Nanashakhi bricks. Interestingly, you don’t need to pay for your room here. Just shell out what’s needed for your meals and transport, the rest is on the house. Spend a day or two experiencing authentic Punjabi village life. Enjoy a morning walk in the fields that surround the haveli, participate in the activities organized by the management, ride a horse, swim or go for a trot atop a camel. You’ll never find anything quite like it anywhere else.
