If you're staying on the Lido, or visiting for an evening, it's worth checking out this locals' bar. Just off the busy Gran Viale Elisabetta (look for the neon sign guiding you in), it's been recently refurbished, but still retains a rustic charm and friendly vibe.
There are sofas outside for al fresco drinking, a pool table and, because it's off the tourist trail, prices are cheaper. There's a good selection of draft beers, wines and spritzes, and the service is relaxed and personal. Snacks and a limited cicchetti menu are also available, and it's open late, according to season.
