Zukunft

Zukunft or Future is one of the smaller clubs of Zurich and is popular for its many crossover events. International DJs and popular bands play everything from techno, house and electro pop to Jazz, indie and blues. Owing to the radio background that the owners of Zukunft come from, local radio stations have a lot of impact on the music. The drinks served here are really good as the bartenders are thorough professionals. There are no happy hours, unfortunately. This nightspot is located inside a basement in the Langstrasse area and is a little difficult to find as the entrance, like 12 Grimmauld Place in the Harry Potter series, is a narrow alley that is obscured by two buildings. The ‘Bar 3000’ is located above this club and should be your landmark if you get lost.
Since this club allows people of all ages, the bouncers can be a little rough with those who do not blend in with the crowds. However, if you are persistent, you will get in, one way or another. The parties at Zukunft go on till the early hours of the morning and night owls are in for a whale of a time.
