Pattaya is full of go-go bars. What’s a go-go bar? Much like a strip club, a go-go bar is comprised of multiple stages, poles, and mirrors surrounded by chairs and tables for patrons. Ladies will rotate on and off the dance floor, drinking with guests in between dances. (Yes, you the customer pays for their drinks.) If you find a girl you like then you pay her “bar fine” and either take her upstairs, or take her out clubbing with you. There are seedy go-go bars and then there are fancy go-go bars. What’s Up A-Go-Go is definitely one of the latter. This bar exudes class. It is also a Pattaya legend that has been around for many years. The only downside is the prices. Drinks are around 200 baht each with lady drinks costing 250 each (as opposed to the 150 each you find most places), which means it gets expensive fast if you are the type that likes to travel with a flock of beautiful ladies at your side.
If you’ve never been to a go-go bar and are skeptical about it, What’s Up A Go-Go is perfect for your first go-go experience. Drinks are good, staff is friendly, ladies are beautiful and the shows are amazing. Plus there are multiple stages instead of only one, meaning everyone in the house has a front row seat. Enjoy!
