Trick Dog

Trick Dog is one of the most inventive, exciting, buzzed-about cocktail bars in America. The on-trend bar in a converted warehouse space has a bi-annually updated concept cocktail menu that is as hilarious as it is delicious.

Its menu changes twice a year, and when it does, it is big news. Early 2016 saw a cocktail list based around real-world conspiracy theories. Before that there was a dog-themed menu. As I write this in the lead up to the US presidential election, the menu has been revamped with a politics/election theme. Try the ‘Hope’ (Evan WIlliams Bonded Bourbon, Luxardo Sangue Moriacco, pineapple, lemon, Anchor Liberty ale) or the ‘Morning in America’ (Absolut vodka, Tempus Fugit Kina L’Avion d’Or, grapefruit, vanilla, marjoram, lime). There are no reservations and the place can get jammed, so go early.
