Fanfulla 5/a

Yet another cultural club in the district of Pigneto, that recently had to fight for its existence.
Originally named “Forte Fanfulla” and hosted in a former industrial building, it was one of the first reality to revitalize the area of Pigneto, with its concerts and artistic performance offered since 2007. At that time Pigneto was just one of the many suburbs ranging in the surroundings of Termini station, not claiming any right r any special mention.

Despite their success, being a cultural association and not a business, they couldn’t afford the new requests of their landlord, and had to downsize their spaces in order to survive and continue to propose they selection of activities, and change their name to create a new association, now called “Fanfulla 5/a”, nothing less than their street address.
Finally they are back proposing their qualitative selection of local and international bands and attracting to Pigneto district the alternative crowd of Rome. Their offer is not limited to concerts, and you might stumble upon a theater performance, a dance show, discussions, meetings, or just people playing chess or checkers. It’s a place where you can find one next to the other University students on their weekend follies, Hipsters playing their alternative role or a local neighbour walking his dog and entering to take a drink or listen to a few notes.

The district of Pigneto is not far from the center and easily reachable with the newly opened “Metro C”.
