The motto behind this popular place is ‘it pays to be well groomed, well fed, properly imbibed, and in the company of good people’. The owners here want patrons to leave feeling a little bit better when they walk in, whether that means having a hot shave or haircut, or a plate of good food and a pint of craft beer. Outside this bar features a 30 seat patio complete with an outdoor brick fireplace and walls surrounding the whole thing, giving it tons of privacy. Indoors the long marble bar, simple wooden tables and attached barber shop make it feel homely and welcoming. The cocktail menu divides itself into pre-prohibition, post-prohibition and revival, and teems with deliciousness. The food ranges from beer tartar to duck reuben and there is an air of sophistication in here that all will enjoy.
