Names are not everything. Do not expect to see knights jousting or medieval decorations or anything of the sort, otherwise you will be sorely disappointed. Instead come eager for a neon party just like you would find at any other modern club. What makes Camelot different is that it is one of the cheapest clubs in Tokyo (the other being Jumanji 55 (to be hyperlinked). From 9 PM to 11 PM, all ladies and Japanese men can enter for free; however, foreign men must pay 1,000 yen. Don’t feel discriminated against just yet—that entry fee includes not one but two free drinks, which means you basically just got in for free. After 11 PM the price just rises drastically, so do yourself a favor and make sure to get to Camelot early!
The club is comprised of three different sections, each with different types of music—one for hip-hop, another for electronic and the third for pop or whatever the special of the night happens to be. The only downside is that Camelot is not in the same few blocks as most of the other Shibuya clubs.
