Frequented by students, locals and foreign backpackers residing in the neighbourhood, this Paharganj dive is as basic as it can get. There’s a long air-conditioned room with two rows of tables and chairs, and a TV showing cricket matches or Hindi film songs. The food is a potpourri of Indian, Chinese and Continental fare, but the star attraction is the ridiculously cheap alcohol (30ml whisky shots start at as little as thirty rupees). Ladies should note that My Bar has a slightly seedy vibe and the crowd tends to be primarily male. My Bar has 6 other branches in locations like Connaught Place, Hauz Khas Village and GK-1.
