No, this isn’t a place for plus-sized people. What once used to be a cinema hall is now a cabaret bar like no other: from drag queen performances to go-go boys trying their hand at belly dancing, an evening at X-Large is likely to be, to put it mildly, unusual. Do note that this is a straight-friendly bar despite the quirky line-up of performances. Open every Friday and Saturday until 5am, X-Large gets lively only after midnight and there is a cover charge. But for a truly larger than life experience, it’s worth every penny.
