Cavernous bar deep beneath the Old Town

Word to the wise: There's only a small plaque to let you know Kulturalny's there - look out for the illuminated Pasmanteria (haberdashery) sign and head through the green doors.

In a city full of subterranean bars, Klub Kulturalny's vaudeville-inspired decor makes it one of the most atmospheric.

Find a dark alcove in the maze of moodily-lit rooms and try a shot or two of Dziegielowka (vodka infused with lavender and angelica) or Piołunówka (a kind of Polish absinthe). A soundtrack of breakbeat and electronica gets louder as the night goes on.
