The Rann Utsav is a celebration of Gujarat’s spectacular Rann of Kutch, and IRCTC has now launched package for interested folks who would want to attend. The festival is a chance for you to explore Gujarat’s cultural side with a kaleidoscope of great events such as folk music, dance, etc.
Day 1 - Train will depart at 3 PM from the Dadar Terminus of Mumbai (every Saturday). Boarding will also be available at Borivali, Surat, and Baroda stations.
Day 3 - Head to White Rann to watch the sunrise early in the morning. Enjoy breakfast, and festival activities, followed by lunch. Go to Kala Dungar or Black Hill thereafter, which is the highest point in Kutch. Followed by a visit to Handicraft Village, and then dinner. In the evening, enjoy activities at the Rann Utsav, and have dinner.
Day 4 - Enjoy breakfast and morning tea, and then leave for Bhuj. You will also be touring Bhuj, and experiencing local sites. Board train at 11:25 PM from Bhuj, and leave for Mumbai.
Day 5 - Reach the railway terminus in Dadar at 1:45 PM.
