It is one of the first luxury hotels in Ladakh and was conceptualised by a local family that has been hosting guests in the region for more than 40 years now. Lavish, spacious rooms spread across three categories, namely deluxe doubles, royal suites and executive suites. All the rooms overlook the majestic Stok Kangri range and have the best of facilities including a mini-fridge, electronic safe, LED TVs, king-sized beds, heat radiators and more. The breakfast spread at The Grand Dragon Ladakh is sumptuous and complimentary. The hotel also has a lavish restaurant that serves a fine mix of Tibetan, Chinese and Ladakhi cuisine. Zasgyath, its in-house coffee shop, is perfect for some freshly-brewed coffee on the terrace, superbly complemented by unmatched views of the Himalayas.
