Essentially a family-run resort, Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort likes to introduce itself as a perfect family holiday destination. Due to abundance of scenic natural beauty surrounding the property, the munificence of the famous rains of the region and the challenging but lucrative treks near the property, the resort keeps its focus steady on an activity filled stay for the guests. Vacationers who prefer a less crowded vacation during off-season, can go for activities like swimming in the natural pools, river canyoning and cave expeditions. The resort has 10 well-furnished rooms with tile flooring, attached bathroom and 24 hour running hot and cold water. Electric kettle and room heater is also provided on request. Apart from this, guests can also avail the service of outdoor camping in dome tents inside the property premises. Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort’s in-house restaurant serves Indian, Chinese, Continental and local delicacies. Other facilities include children’s outdoor play area, bonfire in dry evenings, transport facilities, evening musical performances by local singers, internet, library, car parking and driver’s dormitory. Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort offers a number of trekking excursions in the region which include trek to the world renowned Living Roots Bridges and other nearby hills.
