Rooms on the upper floors have a better view, while balcony rooms are slightly bigger. Rooms on the ground floor are slightly noisy as they don’t have good sound proofing. Most of the front side rooms have very good views. While not a foodie’s delight, the restaurant at Pine Spring is quite decent and serves average fare. However, there have been a couple of times when we’ve been served a fabulous dinner fare at Pine Spring.
Traveller’s planning to stay at Pine Spring need to be aware that the car doesn’t reach the hotel gate, so you have to walk a short uphill distance to reach the hotel. People who have difficulty in walking may find this to be inconvenient. The hotel is a few minutes’ walk to the Gondola base station which makes it convenient for people who want to head out for sightseeing.
Other facilities at the hotel include laundry, barber and massage services. The health club and swimming pool at the hotel are under construction and should be available to travellers soon.
