Palacio de Sal, Bolivia

Located on the edge of the world’s largest salt flat—the Salar de Uyuni—Palacio de Sal is a hotel built entirely out of blocks of salt. Everything from walls to furniture is constructed using pure salt and the only rule that guests are required to follow is ‘Don’t lick the walls!’ This luxury hotel also features a golf course, a dry sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool and its own saltwater baths.
