It’s the Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan hotel, which was also declared the world’s oldest hotel by the Guinness World Records. This 1,318-year-old hotel lies at the foothills of Akaishi Mountains, and has been in operation since 705 AD, when Fujiwara Mahito founded it, wherein his family have been experts in the hospitality industry ever since. Apart from modern amenities, the hotel offers breathtaking views, and soothing hot springs to keep you hooked.

Situated not far from Mount Fuji, the beautiful hotel has even been a favourite to A-list celebrities, who have been to this place for its healing waters and rich history.

It is said that when Fujiwara Mahito founded this place, it was named Keiunkan, because it was founded in the Keiun era. The hot spring flows here freely without interruption, while this place still embodies the unchanging hospitality of Japanese culture.
