Sheraton Waikiki is the second largest resort in Hawaii, which means lots of people and tons of amenities. Even better for families, as children under the age of 17 can actually stay here for free! The Helumoa Pool is where kids seem to spend most of their time, splashing in the two freshwater pools, sliding down the huge water slide and playing in the interactive fountain area. If they have had enough of the pool, then head to the beach for sunbathing and playing in the calm waters during low tide. And for those kids who want to learn how to surf or paddleboard, there are plenty of beach boys to give them lessons. The kids’ club here is among the best in Hawaii and offers full-day programs that include trips to Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium as well as Hawaiian arts and craft lessons. Families will surely enjoy their meals at this hotel as the opportunities are endless. Make sure to check out Hapas Pizza for fast, fun, irreverent grab and Kai Market where kids under 5 eat for free. Located just 9 miles from the airport, there is no long transfer time to reach this resort, making it perfect for the little ones in your family.
