Given the health crisis going on in China, all the reputed hotel groups have decided to waive off booking cancellation charges due to the coronavirus. Hotel chains including Hyatt, Accor, Four Seasons, Hilton, IHG and Marriott have taken the decision of letting go of cancellation or booking modification fees for travellers stuck due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China. Given the health crisis going on in China, all the reputed hotel groups have decided to waive off booking cancellation charges due to the coronavirus. Hotel chains including Hyatt, Accor, Four Seasons, Hilton, IHG and Marriott have taken the decision of letting go of cancellation or booking modification fees for travellers stuck due to the Coronavirus outbreak in China.
Understanding the global crisis situation, and giving priority to the health and safety of guests and employees, all the prime hospitality groups are waiving cancellation or booking modification charges. The virus doesn’t seem to stop but is only evolving.
Four Seasons have waived off their fees through March 31, 2020. This is only for those travelling to any Four Seasons hotel and resorts in the Asia Pacific region. It is also applicable for those coming from Greater China to any Four Seasons hotel or resorts globally.
The Hyatt cancellation waiver is valid through February 29, 2020. This is also for only those coming from Greater China and have reservations at Hyatt hotels internationally and all guests with reservations at Hyatt hotels in Greater China.
Accor Hotels has waived cancellation fee, which will be effective till March 31, 2020. This is only for those who are travelling to or from China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
IHG’s waiver fee is valid through February 29, 2020, for those travelling to or from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan.
Radisson Hotel Group has confirmed its cancellation policy will remain valid through February 29, 2020.
Marriott International will allow cancellation through March 15, 2020.
