For those who don’t like to compromise on the quality and the variety of options despite limitations of budget, Shillong has a few hotels for them. Budget hotels in Shillong are humble establishments with basic facilities and room amenities but they make up for this shortcoming with high levels of service and hospitality. These hotels along with their dedicated staff leave no stones unturned to make your stay with them a memorable experience. The majority of budget hotels are located around Police Bazar, one of Shillong’s busiest and most popular business and commercial areas. So despite the budget accommodation and somewhat basic facilities, these hotels keep will keep you amid all the action. Hotels such as JK International and Eden Residency are two good options for this locality. Properties such as Lake View Inn, White Orchid and Meghalaya Housing Co-operative Guest House, on the other hand are located a little away from the city centre which makes them ideal places to have a quiet stay.
