Word to the wise: It's really worth forking out for the audio guide: the free information available is scant and often not in English.
The show-stopper is probably Da Vinci's 'Vitruvian Man', but don't overlook works by Bellini, Canaletto and Tiepolo, Venice's most famous fresco painter. The Gallerie started life as a school of art and still attracts Venice's current creatives, who come here for inspiration, mainly on Saturday mornings.
