The upmarket antique street
Word to the wise: Stop at the wonderful old pub Fallon's at the bottom of the street for a toasted sandwich and a pint of stout.

Dublin's 'Antique Quarter' is rather more upmarket than its location in the working-class Liberties neighbourhood might suggest. This is a street to come to invest a future heirloom, rather than nab a quirky vintage bargain (although there is an Oxfam Home store, which has kitted out many a student flat).
Johnston Antiques at number 69 specialises in Georgian Irish and English artefacts; for high quality art deco furniture and objets d'art try Niall Mullen at 57. The street also has a scattering of interesting art galleries.
