This piglet cafe in Tokyo is probably the most adorable cafe

Experiences in Tokyo just got a whole lot more interesting as an all-new piglet cafe opens in the city. Named Mipig Cafe, this place is home to piglets so small that they can fit into a teacup. These are particularly small pigs, or young pigs and can make your day with their cuteness.
The story of Mipig began with a crowdfunding site, where the cafe’s founders roped in more than 2 million yen for the project. The idea of piglets in Japan is a novel one, as unlike in the USA, they are not common as pets. In the United States, many celebrities are known to have pet pigs; Paris Hilton even walked the red carpet with her pet pig.

According to the founders, they would like to familiarise the Japanese people with pigs, so that in the near future they can be adopted as pets in Japanese families. The country has numerous cafes in relation to animals, even ones that have owls and hedgehogs! So, the idea of having a piglet cafe is a winner, especially in a market where patrons are not accustomed to having pigs as pets.
The pigs are brought in from the UK, and the cafe is located at Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
