The Original Pancake House

The third generation owners of the franchise have no qualms about the time it takes to get breakfast on the table; this because everything is cooked fresh. While you will be tempted to try their pancakes, do give the Santa Fe Omelette and Southwestern Skillet a shot. All omelettes are served with three buttermilk pancakes on the side which you can upgrade as well; that takes care of the temptation. You could also try their famous Dutch Baby Pancakes or the Apple Pancakes. If the wait is long, the wooden passage will keep you warm which is a relief. All built on the ground floor, the tables are too close to each other. The upside—you get a sneak peek of your neighbour’s plate and can point out saying 'I would like to order a "that”, if it looks more decorated. The Original Pancake House emits a ‘mom & pop’ store kind of feel as this franchise has been run by the founders, followed by their kids and now, grandkids.
