A famous late night eatery in Nampally, Ram ki Bandi is famous for its rich, buttery dosas served with coconut chutney. Started in 2008, the Bandi’s offerings are a welcome departure from the regular masala dosas found around the city. The setup is simple, with fresh dosas being made before your eyes on adjacent food carts. The dosas come stuffed with paneer, cheese and potato masala. All the food—dosas, upma and idlis—is prepared with a healthy dose of Amul butter and cheese. Open from 2.30 am to 8 am, it is great for an early breakfast as well as a late night bite. Thanks to its overwhelming popularity, the owner has also started a restaurant called Ram’s Dosa in Banjara Hills.
