Traditional Ladakhi food served in a 17th-century kitchen - that’s the Old Town Cafe for you. It is curled up in a corner, under the shadow of the Leh Palace, guarded by Stok Kangri on the horizon. Walk in for amazing views that are aptly complemented by Ladakhi specialities like skyu, tangtur, barley soup, paba and stirred-to-perfection butter tea. Ladakhi Supper Club, a food event to celebrate the local food, is organised on most of the Fridays. It is a must-attend event if you are scouring for some amazing local food.
