Hands down, this is one of the best places to grab a quick bite to eat in Rome, and if you aren’t convinced after reading this, just look for the queue when you go to experience their delicious food. Mordi e Vai is located in the Testaccio Market and is stall number 15, and has been around only since 2012. Yet despite only being open for four years, husband and wife Mara Cipriani and Sergio Esposito have found enormous success. Sandwiches are the speciality here, and whether you indulge in their tender beef brisket or get more adventurous with their organs and artichokes, chances are you will not be disappointed. We do recommend you to consume these sandwiches right away as they are drippy, oily, and delicious. Everything here is homemade, spiced to perfection, and tasted by the owners themselves. Only expect the best food on the go at Mordi e Vai, we promise you won’t be let down.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
