French cuisine, minus the pretense
With its red-checkered tablecloths, chandelier lighting and Deco-era art, Le Beaujolais is working hard to mimic the atmosphere of the type of homey bistros one imagines dotting the French countryside. The hotel setting and mainly Asian staff make it seem more of a pastiche at first glance, but friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious, no-nonsense Gallic fare ultimately save the day. In addition to the regular menu, the restaurant also dishes out regional specialties. Occasional live music (of the French variety, of course) also helps to set the scene.
