Traversing India’s Konkan coast—right from Karnataka through Goa, to Maharashtra—Konkan Café at the Taj President recreates a Konkanese home in terms of décor, food and service that is both warm, and well informed. A completely chef driven restaurant—chef Ananda Soloman (of Thai Pavilion fame) is from a part of Mangalore bordering Kerala—it was re-opened towards the end of 2013 after giving the interiors and menu a complete make-over. A completely chef driven restaurant—chef Ananda Soloman (of Thai Pavilion fame) is from a part of Mangalore bordering Kerala—it was re-opened towards the end of 2013 after giving the interiors and menu a complete make-over. Pair your meal with one of the wines especially blended to match the menu by Fratelli. This is by far one of the best seafood experiences in the city, and worth every bit of the fat cheque (and the fat) at the end of your meal.
