Tucked away from the bustle of the mall road is a young couple’s (Tenzin and Lynette Lama) dream, a cheery bistro—Little Llama Café. Known for its delectable Italian, Continental and Asian fare, this café is a popular joint for both locals and travellers, especially youngsters. The highlight of the café is its terrace where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding valley while savouring your meal. ‘Food for the Soul’ is the motto here and the food preparation, service and ambience fully justifies it. The menu is interesting and can be seen written at the blackboard right at the entrance. Some of the must-haves are hummus falafel platter (veg and non veg), juicy burgers, steamed and fried momos and assorted pizzas. For health conscious, there is a choice of healthy salad too. Don't forget to ask them for the ‘special of the day’ as you place your order.
However, do not miss their smoothies and shakes. Plus, hot chocolate is to die for! Overall a very charming place accentuated with pretty pots of greens and lovely curios from the owners’ personal collection. Good for some peaceful moments to partake the beauty of the hill station.
