One of the few Parsi restaurants of its kind, Britannia draws its share of loyalists who come in virtually every day to religiously tuck into their plates of chicken berry pulaos. Not much has changed around the place since it first threw open its doors to the British officers stationed in the fort area. Specialities like dhansak and fish patra remain well loved but what gives Britannia its fame all around the country is the Berry Pulao—a dish of heavenly fragrant rice topped with sour barberries and crunchy cashews.
