A short walk from Churchgate Station and close to HR College, Samrat Restaurant has evolved from a budget eatery to a fancy fine dining restaurant over the years. Despite this massive makeover, one thing that this multi-cuisine food joint has retained is their deliciously satisfying thalis. Regular starters include dhoklas, khandvis, kachoris, patrels and some other Gujju quick bites. Star attractions here include the Gujrati mix vegetable dish, ‘undiyo’ and the dal khichdi. If you’re visiting during summer, you will be blown by their seasonal inclusion to the thali: aamras and puris, a combination that will make even a critic melt.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
