If ever there was a majestic landscape, this is the one. A trip to the vast desert ruins of Wadi Rum is an eye opening and a soul tingling experience. The entire area is quite inhospitable for regular dwellers and it is only the hardy Bedouins who have made this their home. There is hardly any infrastructure in place and Bedouin tents are the sole visible structures, thus leaving the area absolutely unspoiled. It almost seems as though one has landed on a different planet.
Once the sun sets, you will see clusters of stars in the sky. The realization that so many stars exist in the sky hit us while we were at Wadi Rum!
