Now here is a travel disaster we all fear. A UK family booked a hotel in Egypt for their dream holiday; but, upon reaching, found that there is no hotel at all! Gainsborough, Lincolnshire’s Mould family had booked what they thought is a luxury hotel in Egypt for a whopping INR 3.2 lakh, only to find out that the hotel is under construction. The family was welcomed by a pile of rubble, instead of a bell boy!
Finally, they were taken to another hotel by the travel agents, but this too proved to be an ordeal as the new hotel took a security deposit of 8000 pounds from the family. Imagine going through all of that and then having to pay 8000 pounds as security deposit.
According to Mark Mould, the trip was a “rollercoaster of disaster, tears, and sickness.” What started off as a fun-filled expensive dream holiday, transformed into a nightmare, according to him.
Travellers must always book hotels through well-known travel agents, and be extra careful before paying so much money. We hope and pray that you don't ever have to face something like this!
