Uber has taken all necessary permissions from the authorities to begin this service, which is supposed to help people and be a reliable source of transportation for riders. However, one important factor here is that you will need to carry documents that can prove your purpose for travel.
The Uber app on your phone has been updated and will be working for essential service areas only, The initiative is also going to help the company’s driver partners, who are the ones on the receiving end of the lockdown in terms of finance.
According to Uber officials, the drivers who will do the runs for Uber Essentials have been trained for the purpose, and have been given curfew passes for seamless movement.
