The only skyscraper in Frankfurt with a public viewing observatory, you can choose to take lift for the first 190 meters and walk the last 10 meters to enjoy outstanding views of the city. It is usually very crowded during summer. Each tourist is eager and keen to watch the perfect dazzling sun set over Frankfurt.
For each adult, the ticket is priced at EUR 6.50. You can also book the ticket online to avoid the hassle when you reach there.
At the heart of the city, the Main Tower is easy to reach. If you are coming from Frankfurt Rhine-Main Airport, take the suburban train S-Bahn S8 towards Hanua, or get on S9 headed towards Offenbach Ost. Then step off at Taunusanlage station. From there, the Main Tower is at a distance of just 10 minutes.
If you are headed towards the Main Tower, it doesn’t just house an observatory. Enjoy fine dining at Main Tower Restaurant & Lounge along with breathtaking views of the city. The restaurant is open from 12 pm to 3 pm for lunch, and 6 pm to midnight for dinner.
