Beginning July 2018, passengers will be allowed to watch live streaming of meals being prepared in IRCTC kitchen at Pune railway station.
So, if travelling in the Indian Railways makes you suspicious about the quality of food being sold and served in trains, the railways staff has solved the issue once and for all.
According to latest news reports, the Indian Railways will begin live streaming of the food being cooked in IRCTC kitchens. As mentioned above, the railway station in Pune has been chosen as the first railhead for live streaming, and it was recently fitted with CCTV cameras and high-speed internet to facilitate the process. However, it will still take some time for other railway stations in India to get ready to live stream.
Reportedly, the initial 800 to 900 meals will be made for the passengers journeying via the Pune-Howrah Duronto Express on every Monday and Saturday starting July 2018. Travelling willing to check out the live stream can log on to the official website of IRCTC.
