If a company based in England’s Oxfordshire stays adamant to its resolve, a hypersonic passenger plane that could zip from Mumbai to London in an hour would soon be a possibility. Without a doubt, less travel time would be a godsend for anyone who faces boredom whilst sitting through leg-numbing flights to and from two of the world’s most thriving capital cities.
Buzz has it that the hypersonic aircraft would be endowed with the ability to fly about 3800 miles per hour. Meanwhile, the said organisation revealed that it has succeeded in testing an engine cooling system because extreme heat build-up inside engines has made it difficult for the engineers to construct hypersonic airplanes. Going by the latest reports, the new technology would help the airplane fly at Mach 5 or higher.


However, using this special flying service won't be cheap. That means the plush airplane would likely be opted more by the celebs and ultra-rich fliers. Yet, in time, these trips would become a wee bit affordable for the common gentry (hopefully)!
There are still a few years for the hypersonic airplane to turn into a visible reality. It is not, however, the first fast-speed plane to be invented; in the past, Concorde by the British Airways flew the rich and famous at $20 k, but was soon discontinued due to the high costs of operations.
