An ecotourism hub is being developed in Noida; it will feature a wetland, herbal garden and a biodiversity park. On the verge of completion, this park in Sector 91 covers a huge area of 146 acres and is 1.5 times bigger than the famous Lodhi Garden in Delhi. After its inauguration, this park will become the biggest green zone in the whole of Delhi-NCR.
In addition, the Noida authority is working hard to complete the revival of the wetland before monsoon hits the city. It is expected that the work would see completion by the end of the May or beginning of June. Besides, experts are hoping to witness 15 species of birds during this winter season.
When it comes to green areas, there are many in the Delhi-NCR region and Lodhi Garden in Delhi is probably one of the best ones, quite popular among the tourists too. Besides, there are huge green areas in NCR too, such as the Aravali Biodiversity Park (390 ac) in Gurgaon and Yamuna Biodiversity Park (457 ac) in Delhi.
