A Ptolemaic tomb that was built for a man named Tutu and his wife has now been discovered in Egypt. Egypt’s never ending gifts from the old-world continues with this all new discovery. The tomb was actually discovered last October when smugglers were illegally digging and the authorities found out about it.
The tomb has its wall painted that depicts a funeral procession and there are also images of the owner who is working in the fields, alongside written in hieroglyphics of his family genealogy.
Inside the tomb there are two mummies, that of a woman aged 35-50, and a boy aged 12-14. These two were on display outside the burial chamber.
