Game of Thrones’ parting gift to fans – studio tour in Northern Ireland

Fans of the incredibly popular HBO original series, Game of Thrones, would be delighted to learn that now you can explore Westeros in real life. According to reports, a Game of Thrones studio tour is set to happen in 2020 in Northern Ireland.
The makers of the hit show is going to convert one of its sets into a touring venue for diehard fans, so you can expect loads of drama, and unending excitements in store for you. The tour is set to become a possibility after Game of Thrones tied up in collaboration with Linen Mill Studios. There is going to be a load of attractions for guests, including a walk-through amidst the set where some of the most popular scenes have been shot. The entire experience is covered in an area of 110,000 sq ft, and will open for visitors in the spring of 2020.


The news comes at a time when we are preparing to watch the final season of the epic series, and of course most of us would definitely be in depression after it ends. But luckily we have something to look forward to next year when this opens in 2020 spring.The location of the studio is 40 km away from Belfast, and it is a place that has been one of the primary shooting locations. This is where scenes from Winterfell, Castle Black, and even sea battles were shot. Other shooting locations are also in other parts of Northern Ireland, which aren’t open for tour yet.

HBO’s Vice President said in a statement that the experience is going to be immersive for fans, so it is definitely something every Game of Thrones fans should look forward to.
