Shimla bombarded by snow and hailstorm, travellers advised to exercise caution

Shimla, one of most popular hill stations of Himachal Pradesh, recently had its share of intense off-seasonal hail storm and snow. Consequently, the temperature has dropped to 4 to 5 degrees below normal. Therefore, travellers bound for Shimla and other nearby hill stations are advised to plan a trip after taking into account the changing moods of weather.

The same advisory is applicable for tourists looking forward to travel to Keylong, which is enroute Ladakh and is as cold as 3.5 degree Celsius currently.
