Referring to this development, APTDC Divisional Manager T. G Prasada Reddy said that the motive behind setting up these zones is to offer wide options of cuisines to visitors visiting this place from various states, and also to provide them a suitable ambience.
As per the said development, while a drive-in restaurant has been opened in Araku Valley, a container restaurant has been opened near Bheemili, and keeping in view the beach lovers, a beachfront restaurant has been opened in Yarada.
While the container restaurant was recently inaugurated by Tourism Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa, it was built on a budget of INR 2 crore. Similarly, the beachfront restaurant was also built at a cost of INR 2 crore, and was recently inaugurated by the Tourism Department.
The Tourism Minister also stated that to facilitate tourists and travellers alike, the restaurant will also be built at Pandrangi Village in Padmanabham Mandal, which is the birthplace of freedom fighter Alluri Sitaramaraju.
