1. Butterfly Beach Away from all the madding crowd, South Goa hides a secret that is known to just the most ardent of explorers. This secret goes by the name of Butterfly Beach, and can be best accessed via a ferry from Agonda Beach. It turns all the more perfect if you are into camping as well, for early morning breeze often gets dolphins swarming around.
2. Honeymoon Beach

Honeymoon Beach lies quite close to Butterfly Beach, and you can choose either. A very isolated stretch of sand, it is surprisingly small and you might be the only person sprawled on the sand here. Take care not to plan a visit during high tides here, for the beach goes mostly underwater then!

3. Cola Beach
Another offbeat beach in Goa, Cola is slightly more popular than Honeymoon Beach and that makes it quite offbeat on all counts! While the most popular route to get here is via road, most tourists taking a scooter ride; there is a secret that only we know of. Yes, the secret route to Cola is a trek from its more famous neighbour, Agonda. Ask the local fisherman at Agonda and they will guide you well; also, there is nothing like a cold water swim after all that trekking under the Konkan sun.
4. Betul Beach
Serenity and infinite solitude is what you will find at Goa’s Betul Beach. A huge hit for those into fishing, swimming and unadulterated sunbathing, this beach is where you can have the truly Goan experience of Susegad. The rock formations here are also a photographer’s delight.

5. Kakolem Beach
Kakolem in Cancona is hailed as an essentially wild beach of Goa, and aptly so. It is also quite famous by the name of Tiger Beach and legends connect it with tiger sightings as well; nobody has proof though. Swimming in the water here is not advised as the stretch is quite tricky and unmanned, ruling out the possibility of any rescue operations.
