For anyone who loves hills, a trip to Ramgarh would be very rewarding. It has fruit orchards of plum, apricots, apples, and peaches among other varieties. Take them home or get them squeezed into juices, jams or squashes.
Exploring Ramgarh
Once you are in Ramgarh, go for jungle walks in the woods. However, it is advisable to take along a local villager who knows the path well to avoid losing your path in the verdant forests. Exploring the green woods in Ramgarh is an unmissable activity. So, go for it. Reserve some time to visit Nathuakhan and Mukteshwar, both of which are breathtaking hill stations located closeby.
Nathuakhan
Located at a height of 6,365 feet above sea level, Nathuakhan is an ideal getaway for living nature's way. The picture-perfect ambiance of Nathuakhan is ideal to put your mind at rest. All in all, tourists would enjoy the simplicity of this place.
Mukteshwar
This hill station has been named after the ancient Shiva temple located here. The peaks of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Trishul and Panchachuli are easily visible from Mukteshwar. Tourists can opt for rock climbing, rappelling and fruit picking here.

How to reach Ramgarh
By Air
Pantnagar airport is the closest airport located about 76 KM from Ramgarh. Flights from Delhi and other cities land at Pantnagar airport. From the airport exit gate, taxis are easily available for Ramgarh.
By Train
Kathgodam Railway station is the nearest railway station to Ramgarh. It is located 45 KM from the hill station. Two trains ply daily on the Delhi-Kathgodam route.
By Road
Ramgarh can be reached via road by taking a bus from ISBT Anand Vihar in New Delhi to Haldwani or Almora. From either of these destinations, taxi can be hired to reach Ramgarh.
