As per the sources, reserves have remained open for tourists during the past few years as the forest officials believe that tourism is helpful in monitoring tigers, and keep a check on poaching, grazing and deforestation. Moreover, it is not at all risky for tourists to visit the regions during the monsoon, as the park terrains in most of the places remain dry.
The move comes as welcome news for wildlife enthusiasts as the reserves will remain open partially for tourists during the monsoon season.
